Welcome to L’Avenir wine estate
L’Avenir’s rich history dates to the late 1600s, when the estate was one of the very first sites identified for grape growing by the Cape’s earliest European settlers. The estate is set on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountains and has endless locations for your wedding photos to be taken.
Ceremony Options
The Lawn
L’Avenir is surrounded by lush gardens and The Lawn overlooks two beautiful dams. With views of mountains and grape vines behind it this is the most popular choice amongst couples to say ‘I do”.
The Hands on garden
The ‘Hands on garden’ is a garden set with 4 quadrants looking into a gazebo in the centre. Surrounded by grape vines this is one of the only farms in the Western Cape where you’re getting married in the vineyards. The gazebo can be dressed to suit your wedding style or left as is, you don’t need to add
much when you’re surrounded by such natural beauty.
The Pinotage Courtyard
