Mahlatse Country Venue outside Polokwane is one of those unique venues where you can hold virtually any type of reception, meeting, or conference. Mahlatse – the name means “Lucky” – is 12 km from Polokwane city center on the R521 (Dendron/Vivo road) and was built in a Tuscan-Mediterranean style decorated with a hint of African charm. All the buildings are covered by thatched roofs so typical of this part of South Africa where the traditional thatch grass remains a popular choice for roof cover. The venue lies snug in a landscaped garden surrounded by farms which are the hallmark of this part of the country.
